Qi Gong: Healing for Joints and More
A special, holistic body-mind program which is based on Qi-Gong exercises, proper breathing and positive affirmations. Qi-Gong for Beginners
In this class you will be introduced to the Therapeutic Qi-Gong form which is a type of medical Qi Gong sometimes called “Chinese Yoga” and is an “energy workout”. Through gentle whole body stretching and Qi breathing you will feel the energy flow smoothly through your body. It is proven to relieve many ailments including back pain, neck and shoulder problems, cardiac ailments, circulation problems, low energy, low immune function, GI problems, and muscle stiffness.
1 hour class includes warm-up, Qi-Gong exercises, self-massage and a short meditation. Recommended level: Beginner. This is an excellent preventative and recuperative exercise for all ages.

Qi Gong For a Strong Core
This class focuses on developing a strong core and stamina, creates lower body power, and improves energy flow and flexibility in hip joints and knees. This form is a flowing (like a river) form of Qi-Gong. While the movements are graceful and gentle, the effect of the whole form is powerful. It involves mind focus, deep and well controlled breathing; strengthens kidneys, liver and digestive tract, and provides mental alertness and emotional balance.
1 hour class includes a warm-up, Qi-Gong exercises, self-massage and a short meditation. Recommended level: Beginner and Intermediate. Ages 18-55.

Svaroopa® Style of Hatha Yoga
Yoga YOU can do! Many props are used for comfort and support in this slower style of yoga. Begin in chairs, release your spine, and end with guided awareness lying in shavasana (relaxation pose), all while getting a lot of gentle assistance from your instructor. You will release deep tensions, quiet your mind, realign your spine and use your bones, relieve stress and pain, cultivate body awareness and good habits, and feel more energized. Please wear layers of loose comfortable clothing.
Because this is prop intensive yoga, the class is limited to 10 people.
Intro to Pilates
This class is a hybrid workout, which combines the mind/body practices of Pilates with the basic principles of strength training, conditioning and dynamic movement. In four weeks, students will see improvements in posture, strength, flexibility, and body alignment, as well as coordination, concentration and control of the body. Each student will receive special attention to ensure that they learn the proper form and execution of all exercises. This class is perfect for those who are new to Pilates, or for those looking to"brush up on the basics." It is also appropriate for individuals who are recovering from mild injuries and are looking for a safe way to workout.

Intro to Yoga
If you have always wanted to try yoga or haven't practiced in a while, this class is for you! This course is designed to teach you the fundamentals you need so you can become more relaxed and less stressed, all in a safe and non-intimidating environment. Introdu ction to Yoga will detail essential poses, discuss the benefits to the body, and provide an introduction of the philosophy of yoga. By learning the practice of Yoga from the beginning, you'll become more aware of your breathe and adapt that awareness to everyday life.
Classes are offered in 6 week sessions for $65. Mid-Session attendees are welcome at a pro-rated rate.
